It’s a Match!

I’ve been trying out all the Colour Pop ultra matte lip liquid that I bought a few weeks back.  Overall, I really like them, but Beeper is my absolute FAVORITE!!! You’ll be seeing me out and about in this color for sure!!

March 2016 Ipsy Bag

I signed up with Ipsy this month!! I’ve been so excited about getting my first bag.  When it finally arrived, I was a little disappointed.  I think I need to go update my quiz because I got random items.  My two friends got stuff that seemed more like what I would want, so I’m going to have them show me what they put for next time!!

It’s pretty fun getting the items in the mail and it’s only $10, so if you want to sign up, too, use this LINK!!

Colour Pop Trap

You may be asking yourself, “What color lipstick should I wear when I go flying in a private plane?”  I never thought I’d be asking myself that question, but today I had that very question on my mind as I made plans to fly from Rockwall to Terrell in my brother-in-law’s plane.  I decided that Colour Pop Trap was just understated enough not to draw any attention to myself as I climbed aboard this cute little plane!

The flight is about a ten minute flight, which was the perfect amount of time for a first timer like myself.  Strangely, no planes were in the air today.  When we were about to leave, a man came running out to let us know why.  Obama is in town. We had to call in a flight plan to make sure we were safe to fly.   Once we got clearance, we made our way to Terrell, but they gave us some wrong code and when we let them know we were about to land, we found out they were about to call in Secret Service because they didn’t know who we were!! Of course, they worked it out and we landed safely.  I wonder if my lipstick choice was the actual reason they didn’t have send out the Secret Service!! 😉

Colour Pop LAX

My friend turned me on to the Colour Pop ultra lip mattes.  Her lipstick was always on point even after a long day.  The big secret was Colour Pop!! Since the price was only $6.00 a piece I decided to be a little adventurous when I made my order.

LAX is way darker than I’d normally wear, I kind of feel like a vampire wearing it!  I doubt I will get this again, but it sure is fun to play around with on a gloomy Saturday!!

I’ve got my eye on you!

If you are looking for a large palette of eye shadow for a reasonable price, I highly recommend BH Cosmetics. The price was so easy to my wallet, that I figured I would be getting something where each color was the size of a dime.  Boy! Was I wrong! Each one of these shadows is about the size of a quarter!! It’s crazy how much you get for your money!!!

Another bonus to purchasing, was that they stay on pretty well! I always use primer before I apply, so I’m not sure if you would get the same results if you don’t use a primer.  There are several different color palettes to choose from, so if you’re new to make up like I am, this is a great buy!

I ordered Essential Eyes on Monday and received them on Thursday, so it’s close to instant gratification!!

Easy banana pudding

This year we volunteered to bring banana pudding to the family Thanksgiving dinner.  I’m not sure what made my husband volunteer for this since neither of us has ever made banana pudding, but he did.  So here it is.  It was a lot easier than I thought it would be.  I’m sure that grandmothers everywhere are shaking their head at us since we went the easy route, but I’m not ready to attempt any of those hard recipes; especially, when this easy recipe is so good.

Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese (softened)
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (Fat Free)
1 (5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
3 cups cold milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
4 sliced bananas
12 ounce package vanilla wafers

In a large bowl, beat the cheese until fluffy.  Add in condensed milk, pudding mix, cold milk and vanilla. Beat until smooth.  Fold in 1/2 of the whipped topping.

Line the bowl with vanilla wafers, layer banana slices on top of that.  Put a layer of the 1/2 pudding mix.  Layer wafers, bananas, then pudding.  On top of that cover with vanilla wafers, bananas and top with leftover whipped topping.

Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

YUM!!

Superheroes on Parade

Halloween is my favorite holiday! I love seeing all the great costumes that adults and kids put together.  My school always does a Storybook Character Parade.  This years may have been the best one yet!! Here are some of the cute costumes from this year!

What’s your favorite?

I started the 21 Day Fix this week.  It’s going to be so easy to stay on track with my diet if I am able to prepare my meals for the week each Sunday.  This should eliminate me making those bad food choices when I get hungry.  No more binge eating for me!! Meal prepping can be a pain, though, so it’s nice to be able to eliminate the preparation for one meal a day by substituting Shakeology.  I drink the Shakeology for breakfast since I’m not always in the mood to eat when I get up!  I’m still debating over which one is my favorite.  What’s yours?

If you haven’t tried Shakeology yet, you can order it here today!!
